§ 53.02 HAZARDOUS ITEMS AND ITEMS REQUIRING SPECIAL HANDLING OR DISPOSAL.
   (A)   No person shall put out to be collected by the municipal solid waste collector any of the following items:
      (1)   Yard waste;
      (2)   Hazardous wastes and unregulated hazardous wastes, except household wastes which are exempt from the regulations of the Environmental Protection Act, being Neb. RS 81-1501 through 81-1532;
      (3)   Waste tires not properly processed;
      (4)   Waste oil;
      (5)   Lead-acid batteries;
      (6)   Household appliances;
      (7)   Trees, tree branches, and untreated wood; and
      (8)   Clean brick, rock, concrete, asphalt, and soil.
   (B)   Any receptacle containing any such items shall not be collected by the municipal solid waste collection. Any such items shall be disposed of by the owner thereof only as permitted under the state’s Integrated Solid Waste Management Act, being Neb. RS 13-2001 through 13-2043 or any amendments thereof.
