147.01 ESTABLISHED.

   (a)   In addition to the position of Fire Chief, the manpower of the Volunteer Fire Department of the City shall not exceed the following:

      (1)   Two assistant fire chiefs;

      (2)   Three captains;

      (3)   Six lieutenants;

      (4)   One fire inspector;

      (5)   One assistant fire inspector; and

      (6)   Eight emergency medical technicians; and

      (7)   Thirty-six other volunteer fire fighters.

   (b)   All officers and members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the confirmation of Council.
