(a) Effective July 1, 1999, the salary of the Safety-Service Director shall be thirty- four thousand dollars ($34,000.00) per year.
(b) The Salary-Service Director shall be allowed an expense allowance of one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($1,750.00).
(c) The Safety-Service Director shall be eligible for and entitled to coverage under the City’s group medical insurance plan.

(d) The Safety-Service Director’s salary shall be adjusted annually on January 1st of each year by a percentage equal to the average of annual wage increases provided in the City’s labor contracts with Union employees.
