For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
(a) “Golf cart” is a four-wheeled motorized under speed vehicle (USV) originally designed and constructed with a maximum attainable speed of 25 mph or less and is not originally designed or constructed for operation on a street or highway.
(b) “Operator” is the person driving and in control of the golf cart.
(c) “Driver’s license” is a valid license issued by any state to operate a motor vehicle.
(d) “Liability insurance” on the golf cart must be an amount not less than required by Ohio Law for motor vehicles operated on public highways in the State of Ohio.
