Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by the City, and incorporated as if fully set out herein, for the purpose of prescribing basic minimum provisions considered necessary for the safety of persons and of buildings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity for light, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, 1978 edition, recommended by the National Fire Protection Association. All electrical equipment and the installation thereof shall conform to the provisions of the National Electrical Code as adopted herein.
