1317.04 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE; BOND; FEES.
   (a)    An application for plumbing contractor's license shall be made in writing in the name of the person, firm or corporation applying therefor, on forms prescribed and provided by the City, and shall contain such information as is required by the rules and regulations of the City.
   (b)    If such application is made by an individual, it shall be signed by such individual; if made by a partnership, it shall be signed by one of the partners; and if made by a corporation, it shall be signed by one of the officers of such corporation.

   (c)    Such application shall be accompanied by a bond, to be held on file by the City, in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), with surety to the approval of the Safety-Service Director and the form of which shall be approved by the Law Director and conditioned that the applicant will keep the City harmless from all loss and damage that may arise from the negligence of such applicant, or his, their or its agents or employees will conform to and obey all statutes, laws, ordinances, rules and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enacted or adopted respecting and governing or intended to govern plumbing or the installation of plumbing. Such applicant shall, at the time he files the application set forth herein, pay a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to the City.
   (d)    An application for registration as a journeyman plumber shall be made in writing in the name of the person applying therefor on forms prescribed and provided by the City, and shall contain such information as shall be required by the rules and regulations of the City. Such applicant shall at the time he files the application set forth above, pay a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) to the City.

   (e)    An application for registration as a plumbing apprentice shall be made in writing in the name of the person applying therefor on forms prescribed and provided by the Safety Service Director, and shall contain such information as shall be required by the rules and regulations of the Safety-Service Department.
   (f)    A person who on the effective date of this section, has been a practicing plumber for five years, shall be deemed properly qualified as herein defined, and be subject to the same renewal procedure as herein contained.
