(a) No person shall own or possess bees within the corporate limits of the City except when such bees can be kept in hives at least fifty feet distant from the nearest adjoining building or dwelling. The hives of bees must be kept in accordance with the regulations and specifications set forth in State law.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
