ORDINANCE NO. 10-26
   AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF BELLWOOD
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the 2009 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Bellwood, County of Cook, State of Illinois,
WHEREAS, said supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Bellwood;
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the State of Illinois Compiled Statutes;
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Village of Bellwood to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the Laws of the State of Illinois;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the Village of Bellwood and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the Village of Bellwood that this ordinance take immediate effect upon its passage and approval as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Bellwood, Cook County, State of Illinois as follows:
Section One - Recitals
   The above-stated recitals are incorporated herein and made a part of this Ordinance.
Section Two - Enactment
   a)   That the 2009 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Bellwood as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as attached hereto and made a part hereof, and is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
   b)   Such supplement shall be deemed published as of the day of its adoption and approval by the Village of Bellwood and the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplement into the copy of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Bellwood a copy of which is kept in the Office of the Village Clerk.
Section Three - State of an Emergency
   This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the people of the Village of Bellwood.
Section Four - Effective Date
   This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
Section Five - Recording
   This Ordinance shall be entered into the minutes and upon the journals of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Bellwood.
