§ 92.08 DOG SHEDS; KENNELS.
   (A)   Distance of dog shed from property line of premises. It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct and maintain any dog shed or runway for dogs within three feet of the property line of any premises in the village.
   (B)   Kennels.
      (1)   The maintenance by any person or persons within the same household unit (single-family residence, apartment, unit, cooperative unit or condominium unit) of three or more dogs or cats, or combination thereof, shall be deemed to constitute the operation of a kennel.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a kennel in a residential district as prescribed by the zoning regulations in Chapter 156.
      (3)   The owner of three or more dogs or cats shall dispose of all puppies and kittens after an eight-week weaning period.
      (4)   No person shall be permitted to breed their dog or cats for commercial use or gain. If a dog or cat is impregnated more than twice that dog or cat shall either be spayed to prevent further pregnancy or shall be disposed of by the owner.
   (D)   Any person owning an animal shall be responsible for maintaining their property in proper manner. All feces and excrement shall be immediately cleaned and removed from the property.
