(A) If a motor vehicle which has appeared on the immobilization list is subsequently immobilized by the Police Department, a notice shall be placed on the vehicle, in a conspicuous manner, warning that such vehicle has been immobilized and that any attempt to move the vehicle might result in damage to the vehicle. The notice shall also state how to obtain information regarding release of the immobilization device and the vehicle.
(B) If 48 hours after immobilization, the owner has not sought release of the vehicle pursuant to § 72.54, the vehicle shall be towed to a specified location for impoundment.
