§ 51.70 FEES FOR SANITARY SEWER USAGE.
   (A)   Rates for sewer usage. All property upon which a building has been or hereafter may be erected, having a sanitary sewer service connection with any sanitary sewer mains or pipes which may be hereafter constructed and used in connection with the village sanitary sewer system shall pay the following rates per month:
 
Residential
$3.37 per 1,000 gallons of water as metered
Business
$3.37 per 1,000 gallons of water as metered
Industrial
$3.37 per 1,000 gallons of water as metered
Minimum bill
$3.37 per month
 
      (2)   Beginning with the rates established and effective on January 2, 2008, under division (A)(1) above, future increase charges to supply water service to the village and its residents by its current provider Village of Melrose Park, or any other subsequent water provider, may result in an immediate absorption to the village sewer service customers at a rate and portion comparable to those charges passed on to the village.
   (B)   Billing procedures. Billing for sanitary sewer usage shall cover the same billing period, be issued coincident with and on the same form as billing for village water service and garbage collection as provided by §§ 50.21, 52.57 and 52.58.
   (C)   Non-payment. Non-payment of sanitary sewer usage fees shall be addressed in the manner provided in §§ 50.21, 52.57 and 52.58 for non-payment of water charges and garbage collection.
   (D)   Lien and notice of delinquency. Whenever a sanitary sewer usage fee shall remain unpaid after 30 days, the property concerned shall be subject to the procedures for lien and notice as set forth in Chapter 52.
