Once a development plan and drainage system that meets the runoff criteria has been decided upon, then detail design plans for the drainage facilities and structures should be developed. It is important at this point in time to work closely with the Village Engineer to make sure that all facilities and structures are being designed according to any standards and criteria that may exist for these types of structures within the village.
