§ 20-29 REMOVAL BY CITY.
Upon failure of persons to comply with the notice to remove graffiti by the designated date, or such continued date thereafter as the public works director or his designated representative approves, then the public works director is authorized and directed to cause the graffiti to be abated, and the city and its representatives are authorized to enter upon the premises for such purposes. Any paint used to obliterate graffiti shall be reasonably close to background color(s). If the public works director provides for the removal of the graffiti, he shall not authorize nor undertake to provide for the painting or repair of any more extensive area than that where the graffiti or other inscribed material is located.
