A proclamation of emergency shall terminate after 48 hours from the issuance thereof, or upon the issuance of a proclamation determining a civil emergency no longer exists, whichever occurs first. However, a civil emergency may be extended for such additional periods of time as determined necessary by the issuing authority referred to in § 91.02.
