(a) Any vehicle at a size or weight of vehicle or load exceeding the maximum specified in Section 339.03, 339.12 or sections 5577.01 to 5577.09 of the Revised Code, or otherwise not in conformity with sections 4513.01 to 4513.37 of the Revised Code; shall be required to have a Regional Hauling Permit.
(b) Regional Hauling Permits shall be issued in accordance with a Regional Hauling Permit Fee Schedule approved by the Safety-Service Director and made available for this purpose. All permit requests or applications must be made at least two (2) business days prior to the starting date of said permit. For the purposes of this Section 339.14(c), the term "business days" shall exclude Saturdays, Sundays or any federal holiday or City holiday. Any request or application made less than two (2) days prior to the starting date shall be considered to be made on an expedited basis. Any permit issued on an expedited basis shall include an additional fee for expedited service equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total permit fee.
(c) Additional permit fees may be levied by the City in its sole discretion if additional costs relating to the movement of the permitted move are incurred by the City, included but not necessarily limited to: inspection fees, escort fees, maintenance bond cost and fees, etc.

All permit requests shall be made at least two (2) business days (excluding “holidays”) prior to the requested starting date of the permit. Any request to have a permit issued sooner than the above listed requirement shall be deemed to be a “Short Notice” request and a “Short Notice Fee” (25% of the total permit fee) will be assessed in addition to the total permit fee.
