(A) It shall be unlawful to install gas, oil and solid fuel consuming devices in the city without first making application for such permit. Application shall be made by the owner, agent or contractor employed to install said devices. At the time of application, the applicant shall pay the estimated fees in advance.
(B) An application for the permit may be obtained either in person or by mail from the Office of the Gas, Oil and Solid Fuel Burner Inspector.
