§ 34.121 CREATION AND COMPOSITION OF GENERAL TOWN FUND.
   There is hereby created an account of the city which shall be known as the General Town Fund. This fund shall be administered by the Director of Human Resources and Community Development or his/her designee and as set forth in § 32.180 of this Code, as contemplated under Section 28-15 of the Illinois Township Code (60 ILCS 1/28-15). This fund shall consist of such estimated tax revenues, actual revenues, appropriations and expenditures for community assistance contemplated under the Illinois Township Code, including but not limited to senior citizens' services, youth services, mental health services, services in cooperation with another governmental entity, not-for-profit corporation or nonprofit community service association (health, social services for the poor and aged, public transportation/paratransit services) and any other community services and/or purpose authorized by law. Pursuant to Section 235/5 of the Illinois Township Code (60 ILCS 1/235-5) as applicable under Section 28-10 of the Illinois Township Code (60 ILCS 1/28-10), this fund shall receive tax revenues in accordance with the annual tax levy ordinance and any ordinances or resolutions required by law. All revenues and appropriations that exist in the Belleville Township General Town Fund, as of 11:59 p.m., May 15, 2017, shall be transferred by operation of law into this City General Town Fund.
