§ 90.026 DANGEROUS DOGS.
   If a dog of a size necessary to inflict serious injury inflicts injury without provocation on a human being or domestic animal within the city when said individual or domestic animal is within its own property or on public property within the city, and said injury without provocation is proven in any court of jurisdiction over the city, then the owner of said animal shall be subject to fine and penalty for the injury in question and may also be subject to civil suit for the injury inflicted. Said animal may be ordered destroyed if there have been previous convictions for such injuries in other incidents or, in the alternative, shall be subject to confinement and other conditions as provided herein.
