(A) A permit shall be obtained to use explosive materials.
(B) Use of explosives is not permitted between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
(C) Blasting within 200 feet of a structure requires the use of a blasting mat.
(D) Permits issued under this chapter shall be issued in the name of the person undertaking the blasting and shall specify the area in which the blasting is to occur, the type and amount of explosive material to be used, the duration of the permit, and such other factors as are necessary to identify the blasting which is allowed under the permit.
(E) The person or party doing the blasting shall notify the police dispatcher when the explosion is to occur.
(F) The permittee shall be responsible for any damage caused to private or public property as a result of their blasting activities.
(G) The Building Inspector shall issue the blasting permit only after a site visit and consultation with the applicant.
