(A) After removing a vehicle and holding it for any statutorily required time period, the private towing operator who removed the vehicle may sell or dispose of the vehicle as provided by G.S. Ch. 44A.
(B) Any person having an interest in the vehicle may redeem it at any time before the sale by paying all costs accrued to date.
