§ 154.521 GENERAL.
   All spaces or rooms shall be provided sufficient natural or mechanical ventilation so as not to endanger health and safety. Where mechanical ventilation is provided in lieu of the natural ventilation, the mechanical ventilating system shall be maintained in operation during the occupancy of any structure or portion thereof. Exception: A kitchen with all electric appliances which contains neither an openable window nor mechanical ventilation shall not be subject to the requirements of § 154.521 provided that:
   (A)   The kitchen is in a location which would prohibit the installation of a window in an exterior wall; and
   (B)   The installation of a mechanical ventilation system would be infeasible due to structural considerations.
