The application for a permit under the provisions of this subchapter shall be approved by the Clerk Treasurer. An initial review of the application shall be made by the Police Department. If a previously issued permit for the prior period is approved, no additional administrative fees shall be required. If a previously issued permit is withdrawn, a refund shall be made to the permit holder upon proof of having paid the fee for that year.
