§ 51.067 RADIOACTIVE WASTES.
   No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged, any radioactive waste into a community sewer, except as provided below.
   (A)   If a special permit is issued by the Board of Public Works and Safety allowing discharge of the waste. The permit shall be issued only after proof by the recipient that they are licensed by an appropriate governmental agency empowered to regulate the use of radioactive materials, along with a written guarantee of the type and amount of radioactive material, and a complete description of each substance in terms of all chemical and physical characteristics is supplied to the Board.
   (B)   The method of disposal shall be in compliance with the latest regulations specified for each radioactive substance to be wasted. Proof of this compliance shall be that the method of disposal is in strict compliance with the current rules, regulations, and recommendations of the United States Atomic Energy Commission or any and all other regulatory agencies concerned with the handling and disposal of radioactive waste.
