§ 152.67 ADVISORY MEETING WITH PLAN DIRECTOR.
Whenever the owner of any tract or parcel of land in the planning or corporate limits of the city intends to make a major subdivision or planned unit development (PUD), the subdivider shall, before preparing a preliminary plat, meet and consult informally with the Plan Director for the purpose of ascertaining the locations of proposed major streets, parks, playgrounds, school sites, and other planned projects which may affect the property being considered for subdivision. At this meeting, the Plan Director will identify environmental conditions of the proposed site and discuss potential problems of the site with the developer. At the same meeting, the subdivider should review with the Plan Director the minimum standards of subdivision design set forth in §§ 152.40 and 152.41. This informal review should prevent unnecessary and costly revisions in the layout and development of the subdivision. The subdivider is encouraged to provide a sketch plan of the development.
