133.01 DIRECTOR.

(a) The Director of Public Service shall be in charge of the Department of Public Service to be appointed by the Mayor with the confirmation of Council. The Director of Public Service shall assume and be responsible for all duties set forth in Section 8.06.01 of the Charter.

(b) The Director of Public Service shall receive such compensation as Council may from time to time provide in the comprehensive salary ordinance of the City.

(c) As a condition of employment, the Director of the Department of Public Service shall reside within a 15-mile radius of the City of Bedford Heights during his or her employment, notwithstanding the exceptions to the residency requirements contained in Section 9.07 of the Charter.
