903.05 WAIVER OF DEPOSIT; GUARANTEE.

A permit as set forth in Section 903.01 may be issued to the owner of the property benefitted by the opening without a cash deposit if such owner pays the charge for the permit and inspection and signs a guarantee that, if the work is not conducted satisfactorily and any charges accrue against such property as provided in this chapter, such charges and fines for a violation of this chapter shall be assessed against any real estate owned by such owner in the City. The Finance Director shall automatically certify any such charges, plus a fifteen percent handling charge, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to be collected in the same manner as other taxes and assessments.
