(A) The borough hereby designates Bedford Area Ambulance Service (“Ambulance”) as the provider of ambulance service within the borough.
(B) Ambulance agrees to furnish ambulance service to persons located within the borough, to provide requested assistance to the borough’s Volunteer Fire Department within the borough and to perform all its obligations hereunder in a competent and appropriate manner in accordance with existing and future federal, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations.
(C) This agreement shall be for an initial term of one year from the effective date. Thereafter, it shall remain in full force and effect until terminated by one party in accordance with the terms of division (D) below.
(D) After the initial term, either party shall have the right to terminate this agreement, without cause, by giving the other party at least 60 days’ advance written notice of termination.
(E) Copies of this agreement shall be provided to the parties hereto and to the County 911 Center.
