13-303: OFFICERS:

Police officers shall be appointed by the police chief subject to approval of the board of trustees of the town. Police officers shall perform such duties as shall be required of them by the police chief, the town ordinances, federal, state or county laws or regulations, and other actions required in the maintenance of good order and public peace. (1998 Code)
