Compensation of elected officers of the town shall be as provided by the ordinances of the town. The compensation of other officers and employees shall be set by motion or resolution.
Town ordinances provide that the mayor and trustees shall receive twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each regularly scheduled meeting of the board of trustees, but not more than one meeting per month. Absence from a regularly scheduled meeting is subject to review by the board and paid at the discretion of the board. The town clerk and town treasurer shall receive three hundred dollars ($300.00) per month ($150.00 per pay period) for performing statutory duties of office, and an amount set by the town board by motion or resolution for performance of nonstatutory duties.
