§ 93.10 SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, NURSING HOMES, HOSPITALS, AND THE LIKE.
   No person shall create any excessive noise on or projecting across a street, alley, or public grounds adjacent to any school, institution of learning, church, nursing home, or hospital when the noise unreasonably annoys, disturbs, injures, or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace, safety, or welfare of any of its occupants or residents or when the noise unreasonably interferes with the working of the institution, and when conspicuous signs indicate the presence of such an institution.

§ 93.11 YELLING, SHOUTING, HOOTING, WHISTLING, OR SINGING.
   No person shall yell, shout, hoot, whistle, or sing on the public streets between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. so as to annoy or disturb the quiet, comfort, or repose of persons in any office or in any dwelling, hotel, motel, or other type of residence, or of any persons in the vicinity.

§ 93.12 HOURLY RESTRICTION ON CERTAIN OPERATIONS.
   (A)   Recreational vehicles. No person shall, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., drive or operate any mini-bike, all-terrain vehicle, snowmobile, or other recreational vehicle not licensed for travel on public highways.
   (B)   Domestic power equipment. No person shall operate a lawn mower, hedge clipper, chain saw, mulcher, garden tiller, edger, drill, or other similar domestic power maintenance equipment except between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Snow removal equipment is exempt from this provision.
   (C)   Refuse hauling. No person shall collect or remove garbage or refuse in any residential district except between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
   (D)   Construction activities. No person shall engage in or permit construction activities involving the use of any kind of electric, diesel, or gas-powered machine or other power equipment except between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

§ 93.13 EXCEPTIONS.
   Nothing in this chapter shall apply to the following:
   (A)   A display of fireworks by an organization or group of organizations authorized in writing by the City Council;
   (B)   A peace officer in the discharge of his or her duty;
   (C)   A person in the lawful defense of his or her person or family;
   (D)   A discharge of a firearm by a color guard for a military funeral;
   (E)   A discharge of a firearm by a color guard, military, or police unit in connection with a parade permitted or authorized in writing by the City Council; and/or
   (F)   A discharge of firearms or explosives in connection with a show or assembly permitted or licensed by the city, specifically authorizing the activity at issue.
