This chapter is adopted for the express purpose of allowing ORVs (off-road vehicles) that are not otherwise registered under the Michigan Vehicle Code, 1949 PA 300, M.C.L.A. Secs. 257.1 to 257.923, to be operated on certain City streets, and also on public sidewalks for the limited purpose of snow or ice removal from sidewalks in front of or adjacent to a person’s residence, or as may be specifically permitted under the terms of a Special Event Permit issued by the City pursuant to Chapter 815.
