Upon failure of the responsible party to comply with an order or notice to repair or correct conditions, and no appeal has been filed pursuant to Section 1462.17, or the appeal does not stay the time for complying with the order or notice, the Administrator shall do one or more of the following: issue an appearance ticket; refer the matter to the police department or to the City Attorney for other appropriate legal action; if the property is a rental property, refer the rental permit for sanctions under Chapter 842.
