If the City determines that an emergency condition exists or is likely to exist, the City shall immediately attempt to orally inform the responsible party and all occupants of the dwelling of the nature of the emergency condition. The City shall immediately attempt to orally order the responsible party to correct the condition. Such an order shall be effective immediately. Written notice called for by the PMC shall be prepared and mailed to the responsible party, as soon as practical, after oral notice has been attempted. Failure to comply with an emergency order is a violation of the PMC.
