Approved numbers or letters shall:
(a) Be colored so as to contrast readily and visibly with their background;
(b) Be a minimum of three inches in height;
(c) Not be overly ornate, script-like in nature or spelled out in words; and
(d) Not be mounted on a door covered by a screen or storm door.
