(a) All premises using water shall be metered, except as otherwise provided in this chapter. No person, except a Department of Public Works employee, shall break or injure the seal or change the location of, alter or interfere in any way with a water meter or any equipment used to measure water volume, record data, or transmit data.
(b) A person who violates this section is responsible for a Class E Municipal civil infraction and shall be subject to the civil fines provided in Section 202.98.
