At least every six months, the Chief of Police shall cause an inspection to be made of each taxicab licensed under this chapter to see that the taxicab complies with the provisions of this chapter and is safe for use. The licensee of any such taxicab is required to have each taxicab so licensed to be presented at the Police Headquarters of the City for inspection at such time as the Police Department may require.
