(a) No City employee shall seek nomination or election to any elective office of the City Government.
(b) No City employee shall solicit or attempt to solicit, or be required to make any assessment, subscription or contribution, for any candidate seeking elective office on City Government time or on City property.
(c) Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent City employees from becoming members of any political organization, from attending political meetings, from expressing their views on political matters or from voting with complete freedom in any election.
