(a) The Local Officers Compensation Commission shall meet for at least one and not more than fifteen session days in each odd-numbered year. "Session day" means a calendar day on which the Commission meets and for which a quorum is present.
(b) The Compensation Commission shall elect a Chairperson from among its members.
(c) The term of office of the Chairperson shall be two years, but shall continue until a successor is elected.
(d) A majority of the members of the Compensation Commission shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of business. No action or determination on salaries may be made without an affirmative vote of a majority of Compensation Commissioners appointed and serving.
(e) All business of the Commission shall be conducted at a public meeting in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.
