Section 7.2. Financial Control.
The Comptroller shall have charge of the administration of the financial affairs of the City, including the supervision of the offices of Assessor and Treasurer, but subject to the general supervision of the City Manager. The Comptroller shall provide for a system of accounts which shall conform to such uniform system as may be required by law.The Comptroller shall maintain such accounting control over the finances of the City, make such reports, and perform such other duties as may be required by this Charter, by ordinances, or by the City Manager. As Comptroller they shall audit and approve all liquidated claims against the City and shall pay the same on duly certified vouchers.
