No person shall be eligible to be elected or appointed to the office of Mayor or At-Large City Commissioner unless that person is a registered elector in the City or any annexed area. No person shall be eligible to be elected or appointed to the office of Ward City Commissioner unless that person is a registered elector in the City or any annexed area and resides in the ward for which that person is a candidate. The office of Ward City Commissioner shall be deemed vacant if the Ward City Commissioner removes their residence from the ward during their term of office.
