A. The tax payable under this chapter shall be seven hundred and fifty hundred dollars ($750.00) per parking space per year beginning on June 1, 2024.The owner or operator of the truck and semi-trailer storage lot shall also be responsible for obtaining any and all applicable license(s) required by City code to operate within the City. This tax is payable on or before June 1 of each year.
B. Failure to comply with this section shall result in a minimum fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) and a maximum fine of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), each day of noncompliance shall be considered a separate and distinct violation. The City reserves the right to suspend or revoke the license of owners or operators who are found to have repeatedly violated this section. (Ord. 23-38, 8-21-2023)
