3-4-8: CIRCUSES:
   A.   License Required: No person shall conduct or operate a circus in the City without having first obtained a license as is provided in this Section. (1972 Code § 115.200)
   B.   Application, Fee: The application for such a license shall be made to the City Clerk and shall specify the place in or on which the circus is to be conducted.
      1.   The fee for such license shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each day during which the circus is conducted or open to the public, and no license shall be issued except on payment of the fee for the time specified in the permit or license. (1972 Code § 115.205; amd. 1986 Code)
      2.   The license fee for each sideshow and concession in connection with a circus shall be five dollars ($5.00) per day. (1972 Code § 115.210)
   C.   Inspections: It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police and the Fire Chief to see that inspections shall be made of all circus performances and of the premises used. (1972 Code § 115.220; amd. 1986 Code)
   D.   Compliance With Provisions: It shall be the duty of every person licensed under the provisions of this Section to obey the provisions of this Section and all other ordinances relating to circuses or the premises occupied. (1972 Code § 115.215)
   E.   Cheating: It shall be unlawful for any person to cheat, shortchange or otherwise defraud any person attending or about to attend a circus performance. (1972 Code § 115.225)
