3-4-7: BILLIARD AND POOL HALLS:
   A.   License Required: No person shall operate or maintain a billiard, pool, bagatelle or pigeonhole table open to the public without having first obtained a license therefor as is herein provided. Applications for such licenses shall be made in writing to the City Clerk and shall state thereon the intended location of the place of business and the number of tables to be used therein.    B.   Bond: No such license shall be issued unless and until the applicant therefor shall file with the City Clerk a penal bond in the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), conditioned on his compliance with the ordinances of the City relating to billiard and pool halls. (1972 Code § 115.155)
   C.   License Fee: The annual fee for such licenses should be fifty dollars ($50.00) regardless of the number of tables used. (1972 Code § 115.160)
   D.   Minors: Minors under the age of sixteen (16) years shall under no circumstances frequent, loiter, go or remain in any hall licensed hereunder at any time, unless it be in the company of a parent, guardian, or other person having custody of the minor; and it shall be unlawful for the proprietor of any billiard or pool hall to allow or permit any such minor to frequent, loiter or remain within such place of business in violation of the provisions of this Section. It shall be the responsibility of the proprietor of any billiard hall establishment that minors of the age of sixteen (16) years or under shall not be in his establishment in violation of Section 5-3-1 of this Code concerning curfew for minors.
   E.   Hours For Operation: All pool or billiard halls open to the public shall be closed for all purposes and cease doing business of any kind not later than one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and no such place shall be open for business earlier than six o'clock (6:00) A.M. (Ord. 83-45, 9-6-1983)
