§ 113.15  UNSOLICITED SALES PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The practice of going in and upon private residences in the village by solicitors, peddlers, itinerant merchants or transient venders of merchandise not having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant of said private residence for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares, services and merchandise and for disposing of and/or peddling the same is declared to be a nuisance.
   (B)   This subchapter is intended to regulate only commercial practices and the solicitation of funds within the village for the activities set forth in division (A) of this section. Solicitation for purposes other than for the sale of merchandise or taking of orders for merchandise is not regulated by this subchapter.
