§ 92.01  FIRE PREVENTION CODE; COPIES AND AMENDMENTS.
   (A)   Adoption and purpose.  The Clermont County Fire Prevention Code is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as the standard fire code of the village to guard against the occurrence of fires and protect the property and lives of its citizens against damage and accidents resulting therefrom. The Fire Prevention Code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
   (B)   File and sale copies.  The Village Fiscal Officer shall maintain on file a complete copy of such Fire Code, shall file a copy of such Fire Code in the Law Library of the county and shall make copies available to the public at cost.
   (C)   Amendments.
      (1)   Penalty for violations.  Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Code or fail to comply therewith, or who shall violate or fail to comply with any order made thereunder, or who shall build in violation of any detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted and approved thereunder, and from which no appeal has been taken, or who shall fail to comply with such order as affirmed or modified by the fire official, or a court of competent jurisdiction, within the time fixed herein, shall severally for each and every such violation and noncompliance respectively, be guilty of a minor misdemeanor on the first offense thereof; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, with penalties for such violations as set forth in § 130.99 of the codified ordinances. The imposition of one penalty for any violation shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue; and all such persons shall be required to correct or remedy such violations or defects within a reasonable time; each day of continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
      (2)   Validity.  If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this Code hereby adopted be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent that all other portions of this Code are independent of the elimination here from of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
      (3)   Enforcement of removal.  The application of any penalties of this Code shall not be held to prevent the enforcement removal of prohibited conditions.
