§ 150.07  RADIO AND TELEVISION ANTENNAS.
The following rules and regulations shall govern radio and television antenna structures.
   (A)   Structures covered by this section shall be structural members used to support an antenna as well as the antenna itself but nonrigid antenna wire is excluded.
   (B)   An antenna structure may be installed without the necessity of a building permit on or at any building within the following limits:
      (1)   Maximum 16 foot above the roof or ridge pole, except that a single vertical pole may not exceed 21 feet above such ridge or ridge pole; and
      (2)   Standing antenna towers shall not extend above the ground more than 21 feet.
   (C)   Any antenna structure exceeding the above height restriction, and up to 45 feet maximum, shall require submission of evidence of structural stability to the Building Department. When acceptable, a building permit shall be issued for the same. All structures shall be subject to a reasonable determination of structural stability by the Building Department, and specifications of the manufacturer may be used as a guide to determine such stability. An alteration which does not affect stability does not require another permit.
   (D)   Any antenna structure over 45 feet in height and exceeding the above restrictions shall require submission of structural stability and shall further require favorable action by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
   (E)   Pre-existing antenna structures including those on temporary permits shall be permitted without the necessity of obtaining a building permit hereunder. However, no modification will be permitted which will conflict with this section or the zoning ordinance unless favorable action is taken by the Board.
   (F)   No dish type or parabolic antenna exceeding eight feet in diameter shall be erected without approval of the Board.
