§ 150.06  AWNINGS, CANOPIES AND SIGNS OVER SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   In addition to the regulations set forth in the County Building Code which have been adopted herein, it is also provided that every person shall obtain a permit before erecting any awning, canopy or other projection over a public sidewalk or other public way within the village. Any such awning, canopy or other projection over a public sidewalk or public way shall be not less than seven feet high from the ground surface level of such public sidewalk or public way. A fee of $2 shall be charged for such permit.
   (B)   A permit shall also be obtained before hanging, erecting or placing any signs of any nature which extend over a public sidewalk or other public way. All such signs shall comply with the Zoning Code. A fee shall be charged for such permit as provided in the Zoning Code.
