Any person, corporation, firm, or partnership as owner or operator of an unpermitted commercial motor vehicle found guilty of violating any provision of this chapter shall be jointly and severally liable for a fine in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), plus one thousand and 00/100 dollars ($1000.00) per passenger, excluding the driver. Each day on or during which any person, corporation, firm or partnership violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 24-01, 12-3-2023)
