Driveways should have a grade that slopes away from the roadway surface at a rate equal to the slope of the shoulder but not less than three-sixteenths inch (3/16") nor greater than one inch (1") per foot. The slope should continue for a distance equal to the shoulder width. Beyond the shoulder the driveway grade should not exceed ten percent (10%). (Ord. 96-4, 4-22-1996)
