It shall be the duty of the members of the Police Department to see to the enforcement of all of the regulations of the Village, and to preserve order and prevent infractions of the law and to arrest violators thereof. Every member of the Police Department is hereby declared to be a conservator of the peace. Any member of the Police Department may serve any process, or serve any notice that any Village officer is authorized to make under this Code or any ordinance passed in pursuance thereof.
